A sweater built to hold together. We made it black, then let it come apart where it wanted to.
01
BLACK
The whole sweater went into the dye. The knit absorbed it differently along the ribs, the cuffs and the body, giving the black a depth that a flat colour doesn’t have.
02
DISTRESS
The knit was opened by hand, point by point. Holes across the body, cuffs and hem left to unravel on their own. Every break follows the construction of the yarn, none of it was cut clean.
03
PRINT
A graphic was screen printed on the front, black on black. It doesn’t announce itself: it lives in the difference between two blacks, visible only when the light moves across it.
