Jeans that had already lived once. We aged them again, faster and deeper, until the blue turned to earth.
01
WASH
The denim went through a wash that brought out lines and fades along the body, where fabric folds and rubs with movement. The surface began to open, and the indigo started to let go.
02
YELLOW
The whole pair was overdyed yellow. Over the blue, the colour doesn’t sit clean: it turns warm, muddy, closer to something found than something made.
03
CORRODE
Specific areas were corroded by hand, on the thighs, the knees and the hems. The colour was pulled out in clouds, with no clean edges and no repetition from one leg to the other.
04
DIRT
The last layer was worked in by hand: dirt and shadow around the pockets, the seat and the hems. It follows the places where a pair of jeans would naturally carry its history.
