A jacket aged decades in a few days. Nothing was added to make it look old: it was worn down until it was.
01
COLOUR
The leather was sprayed by hand in a muted beige-green, covering the original black with a pale, uneven skin. Lapels, belt, pockets and epaulettes, everything went under the same colour.
02
ANTIQUE
The jacket went through an antique treatment and was tumbled until the new colour began to wear through. The black came back where leather naturally breaks in: seams, edges, folds, cuffs. The surface now reads like something that has lived several lives.
03
LIGHT
An ornamental frame was burned into the back by laser. The light marks the leather without adding anything to it, and the frame sits inside the aged surface as if it had always been there.
